Pete Maughan founded Prolero in 2005 and it was discontinued in it’s traditional form in 2009. Since then, Prolero has been in a holding pattern essentially not operating nor in business.

Prolero has been involved in several different business lines including health and wellness, weight loss, home business opportunities, online marketing education, internet marketing, lead generation and more.

From its inception, Prolero was designed as a pay to help clients obtain qualified customers in the form of leads or buyers who had purchased a similar product or complementing service that would qualify them as an ideal customer for the client.

Prolero affiliate marketing was built up as a method to obtain these leads, customers, and buyers through the use of affiliate marketing using affiliates to send customers to the clients. Prolero affiliate had affiliate tracking software and other means used to track these sales through the CPA affiliate industry.

As a result of a bad business deal entered into with a partner who was discovered to have bad intentions and a bad track record for scams and fraud, Prolero was weakened significantly to the point that it was not able to recover in its original state. Currently as mentioned above, it is in a holding patter with its doors closed and has gone out of business. When and if it is able to recover, the founder, Pete Maughan has intentions of making best efforts to make good and restore good business relationships with customers, clients, partners, vendors, and others who have done or wanted to do business with Prolero before it closed its doors.
